it's a single cyclinder, 4-stroke engine with a displacment of 625cc... although with my aftermarket pipe I get a little more!!
some equipment needs to be added for the trip, so far I have only managed to buy a tankbag...

Just run the bike in properlly and it will give you a long life time. I did my trip on an Africa Twin, down to the bottem of Eygpt. Ive been thinking of going down to SA.....starting in october. Maybe I can drive back up with you guys, back to Switzerland.The guys that want to go said they would like to go down in 3 weeks....thats way to fast,wont get to see much. you guys are taking your time, so Im sure you will see a lot on your trip.
